The Cumaru Village is a Potiguara indigenous community located in the municipality of Baía da Traição, in Paraíba, Brazil. Part of the traditional Potiguara territory, the village is located in a region of historical, cultural, and environmental importance, characterized by coastal landscapes, mangroves, and archaeological remains. The community maintains ancestral cultural practices, such as handicrafts, ritual dances (such as Toré), and artisanal fishing, in addition to being involved in community tourism initiatives that aim to promote their indigenous heritage.
